Student ID card
In the University of the West, the development of an automated application that generates the student ID by connecting the infrastructure, in an innovative way, to the European European Student Card (ESC) network, which will facilitate academic processes, including study mobility, administered in a more efficient, digital way, using modern technologies.

Facilities
The student ID – European Student Card replaces the student card that serves as an academic identity document (in digital format), which certifies the quality of being a UVT student.
The European Student Card allows every student to identify and register electronically, easily and securely, at higher education institutions in Europe, eliminating the need to complete paper-based procedures. Digital student IDs can be validated by any entity, by simply scanning the QR code on the card. The student has the possibility to personalize his ID with a photo.

First steps
- Validation of the student ID – European StudentCard is done online, by accessing the link https://id.e-uvt.ro.
- Authentication on the platform is done with the credentials of the e-UVT institutional mail account.
- Access the “Generate card” button.
- Enter profile picture, check picture frame and select context
- Download card
- Scan the generated QR code that can be verified via the mobile device
