University Management Systems
University Management System is a tool dedicated to the administration of activities from the existing educational processes in university environments. The main objective of the system is the assimilation and harmonization of processes specific to university management, giving it the opportunity to create its own work methodology, but taking into account the specifics of school management activities in Romania, as well as the significant differences in approach from one university to another. The implementation of an IT solution dedicated to university management is today a fundamental option for the vast majority of universities that have understood the new trends and needs that are circulating at the European level.

Facilities
UMS ensures the achievement of the following main objectives:
support for activities and processes carried out in Faculties, Departments and Services,
transparency, accuracy and security of information regarding: students’ school status, sources of funding for university activities and the way funds are used,
support for decision-making within the Western University of Timisoara at decision-making levels.
The implemented solution is an open and flexible system, which realizes the automation and management of specific processes in universities, in compliance with policies and procedures designed to ensure a coherent security standard for the mentioned components and with the system functionalities described below.
