UVT Mail
Email account format:
- for students: firstname.name12@e-uvt.ro. The last two digits represent the year of birth.
- for teachers: prenume.nume@e-uvt.ro
The e-uvt email account is a Gmail account on the e-uvt domain, assigned to the Western University of Timișoara.You benefit from the entire list of Gmail functionalities through G Suite Email, and unlimited storage space, you can put filters and labels, you can use it from any device, mobile or desktop, it has an offline function (you can read and write messages, sending them -se as soon as you have Internet connection again). It is compatible with Microsoft Outlook and any other e-mail client, from any phone, tablet or operating system.
This is a continuously updated page, as we will regularly add information based on its dynamics.
Facilities
UVT-Mail: Institutional email address, to which students, professors have access within the University. These email addresses are different from the private ones, being managed by e-UVT.
Users
This resource can be accessed by all UVT staff (students, teachers, auxiliary teaching staff, etc.)
First steps
Obtaining credentials:
– The user who no longer knows his credentials and can recover them in several ways:
– Auto password reset (selfcare.e-uvt.ro). See guide here: Mail e-uvt – “Change password” tab
– Sending mail on media that contains more personal data. see here
– Reset on the spot in room 042 (The user must have an identity document on him)
Autentificare:
– The following link is accessed from a browser (Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari): E-mail eUVT.
N.B: At the first login, the user must accept the Terms and Conditions of e-UVT and Google.
